Hi,
I would start the TCP Dump on ISE to rule out if it's network issue. And to
check if the WLC is sending the correct packets as it might be the issue
sometimes.
Also, would keep checking the WLC's RADIUS statistics.

Our ISE deployment proxies most of our wireless authentications to a load
balanced FreeRADIUS setup. It's had its bumps but it's been working well for
several semesters now. Where are you running into trouble?

with our WPAs-Enterprise (aka 802.1X) wireless network.
