Thanks to Anthony and Ben. Jon Pevzner helped me find the offending little
program in my WINNT/Downloaded directory. Cleaned the registry of references
to it and the dependent programs and all is again right with my desktop.
Thanks to all, now back to WiTango

Tango 2000 on Windows 2000 :
I've added some tasks to the crontab file and stopped and started the
Tango service (in the services control panel) a couple times but the
new tasks don't get executed. Any suggestions on how to get Tango to
recognize the new tasks?
Thanks!

Steve,
Have you tried using the Scheduler function in your Control Panel?

Steve,
Check your C:\PVSW\Tango2000\Configuration\T4Events.log
You should see something like:
[ 992] 2002-12-14 22:46:43 INFO Parsed 6 entries in crontab
C:\PVSW\Tango2000\Configuration\Crontab.txt.
If you don't see that, check C:\PVSW\Tango2000\Configuration\t4server.ini.
Look for:
There is a tag called reload configuration file or something like that.
It reloads your cronfile, but I would have expected the restart to do
the same.
