Yes, all other apps will open them and save them to the same location
including Bbedit and GoLive.

I think it got a bit off topic, but I think the point is, it would
solve your problem, and provide many, many more benefits. Also, the
dev studio is so long in the tooth, I think we don't even try to
resolve issues that come up anymore, and just work around.
