version to fool around with while I was waiting.

We are working on the documentation as quickly as we can. Much of the v5.5 doc
still applies, although there are many differences which need to be explained,
most notably in the Studio. We will get it out ASAP.

We saw a huge jump in performance when switching to jdbc,
but didn't know if others had the same experience.

If you see a huge jump from odbc to jdbc, that is probably more due to the
driver and the database. Some db vendors have a more robust jdbc driver and
support. If odbc is setup correctly, and both drivers are equally maintained,
