1) In panther, conduct a search for 'odbc.ini' 2) in the search window where it says "search for items whose:" click the plus (+) sign and add the criteria for "Visibility" and set it to "Visible and Invisible" 3) this will display all your files visible (odbc.ini) and invisible (.odbc.ini)

Trevor, do a search on ODBC on the entire OS X partition/volume. Also, there WAS a nifty PDF on the ODBC/OSX subject, but now I don't know where it is. Check out the OS X pdfs on the Witango documentation page (installation and tutorial) - I'll bet the info now resides there. You should only h

The Dev Studio does not access the odbc config files directly. The Dev Studio communicates with the ODBC Driver Manager which in turn tries to find the odbc.ini file. The odbc driver manager looks for the config files in a set pattern until it finds an ini file. The easiest way to ensure

Hi Chris I am actually asking for authentication every time, but for some reason it will not accept the authentication (I have not been able to authenticate successfully once). I am thinking that when Dev Studio tries to access the odbc source it is using a different ODBC config file somewhere. I
