I have my SSL cert loaded and working properly. I have used the strategy of
using domain variables AppRootUrl (exit to http) and SecureAppRootUrl
(https) for moving back and forth.
domain$AppRoot is http://<@CGIPARAM NAME=SERVER_NAME>
domain$Secur
Look for a file called 403-4.htm which contains this message. Modify it to what you want it to say and save it in the same location.

So now in the going to the taf where they enter and process credit card
information what do I do with
<@CGI><@APPFILEPATH>checkout.taf?.
And on the other side one they leave the secure area how do I get them out
of HTTPS back to
At one time I would have agreed with you. But it seems that people are more
concerned with having their personal information encrypted for transmission,
rather than having a 'trusted third party' verify that the website is who they claim
to
be. Just my observation, not meant as a challenge.

You're right in a way, how any times have you clicked on the Verisign or
Entrust seal to verify the certificate's authenticity on a site? I haven't,

If you are using in house applications or testing applications, there is no
problem with generating your own cert. If you are dealing with people that
don't know you, you will want to purchase a cert.

I might be a bit late on this thread, never mind.
To keep people out who are not using a secure connection, you should specify 'requires
secure connection' on the web server. With IIS, this can be done at the file or
directory level. Properties --> [File/Directory] Security --> Secure
