Looks like QT 5.5 wasn't necessary after all to do this. But I can't
figure out how to select the audio device so the selector is disabled and
the tooltip warns about using the same card as the radio.
The attached patch plus the following WAV files put in a "sounds" directory
at the WSJT-X level

Hi Edson,
Thanks for your message -- and HNY! I'm happy to hear that you, too,
find the new decoders to be performing very well.
As for the QEX article: it's already somewhat more that half done, in
draft form. :-) We'll be happy to send you an advance copy when it's done.

Joe and Frank,
Happy New Year!
For the last few days I have been monitoring the JT65, JT9 and WSPR
activity on 15m and am observing that the performance enhancements in the
decoders are very impressive. Not only in speed, but also in sensitivity
and ability to dig signals from the noise or in-ban

Hi Bill,
I have been QRT for a few weeks until this afternoon because of an antenna
failure - repaired an hour or two ago. Updated 1.7 to r6330.
I left CQ running and experienced this behaviour after the watchdog should have
timed out although TX was not disabled by the watchdog. Sound was

HNY All!
I’m writing to report the results of some tests on r6330, which includes Joe's
new scheme for assigning a quality metric to the codewords that are found by
the soft-decision Franke-Taylor decoder.
First, results for my batch of 333 hf files:
r6041: 4181 (ntrials=1000, robust sync)

Thanks for pointing out this anomalous behavior.

Not sure if this is related, but I am testing 6330 in WSPR mode and I am
seeing triple decodes of strong signals the main one and then two others
at approx +/-30Hz about 25dB down e.g.:
1504 -21 -0.97.0400380 DF2JP JO31 30417

Hi Dan,
I have had a couple of reports of this behaviour, so far it has not been
diagnosed.
When it happen
Program Version - WSJT-X v.1.6.0 r6263
Operating System - OS X Version 10.11.2
Concise description of the problem - Every 3rd to 5th transmission cycle audio
will revert from what I have set in the Sound Card section to different audio
device on the system, if my Bluetooth speaker is enabled it
