I looked at a Win11 laptop i have and tried plugging in a headset. The LT is an
ACER with single, combo audio jack and REALTEK drivers/system. When it sees the
headset plugged in, it asks for verification of the device types plugged in and
has drop down menus to select Line in/out, speaker, head
Since you were asking about the IC705, I loaded the new dll and tried it with
my X6100. It worked as it should from 6m > 160m and back with no problems. It
also worked fine with my ANAN running Thetis. I will leave the new dll
installed and let you know if something shows later.

Maybe just co-incidence but I have had two crashes now where the last
entry in the ...ALL.TXT file was a station with compound call that was
answering my CQ.

While chasing the 3X In noticed the following :
The fox ( 5 wide at the time ) responded to my report with
'K0VM RR73 I5' ( note lack of ; after RR73 and truncated start of next

My hound continued to send my report until the fox responded with
normal format 'K0VM RR73;

I have noticed the same thing.. I'll be sending message 3 ( R-1, etc.
) with no response .
the select CQ message for next transmission and then get a response from
the station..
Or toggle to message 5 and back to message 3 and get a response.

I have been running Win11 since it first became available in the Dev
channel. I have not had any problems with WSJT-X ( any version) or any
of the other apps that I normally use.
