I have noticed the same thing.. I'll be sending message 3 ( R-1, etc.
) with no response .
the select CQ message for next transmission and then get a response from
the station..
Or toggle to message 5 and back to message 3 and get a response.
I suppose it could be rando propagation effect but seems to frequent.
