Interesting…. Started an instance of rc1, then an instance of 1.8.0 from the command line. Audio came alive on 1.8.0. After resetting various prefs, it seems to be working as expected. Killed first instance and 1.8.0 still running fine. It will be interesting to see if I have to take this
