I have now a fresh install, but the soundcards in the radio is not detected.
They are not mentioned in the dmesg output.

If anyone cannot figure out the reason for the weird behavior,- i am
willing to try a fresh install of Linux mint.
Perhaps that solves the issue.

Now, can anyone describe in detail exactly how wsjt-x deals with the
input audio, so perhaps the folks at the linux mint forum can understand
in detail how the audio streams is handled by WSJT-X ?

not related to Linux mint.

I found the error, the "power slider" must be at its top position,
weird,- since the receive slider must be at almost the bottom of the screen.

Hi, i have a problem.
It seems that the WSJT-X program does not put out any audio, so i do not
get any TX power.
I have tried to resolve this with help of the Yeasu FT-991 users group
on facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/yaesuft991/
The software is set to use:

Ok, i have tried to build it with jtsdk, and that results in exactly the
same sample rate related bug.
This is going to be a loong rad, since i have included the build
output, the configure output and finally another python issue.
I have also refreshed the files from the svn.
Here we go:
./config
ter.filedialog import *

How do i fix this ?
It compiled just fine with the following packets installed:
build-essential gfortran python-numpy python-scipy python-imaging-tk
python-imaging python-all python-all-dev

Linux mint and jack audio server does not play along nice, and wsjt
needs libjack-jackd2-0.
Fldigi uses portaudio, and works fine with that.
The newest wsjt-x also works, the older version 1.1 also had problems
relating to the sample rate.
