You seem intent on proving there is something wrong with vista or wsjt-x. Do you use any other digital mode programs for say psk31 or SSTV ?. I would maybe suggest using one of those and see if they lock up when you tune. I fail to see why you are looking at your operating system or the software

I have the same issue here but only for 1.7 If I do build-wsjtx -b dev -n wsjtx-1.8 -c release -t install It updates (to 8084) just fine but build-wsjtx rinstall or build-wsjtx -b dev -n wsjtx -c release -t install both give the same sourceforge update error ? Not over fussed myself as not keen

I did that even made videos and posted them on facebook even though Gregs instructions are more than adequate. I had a friend who started to distribute and I got grief for teaching him. I have even used teamviewer to setup JTSDK on peoples computers buut since the grief I have not done this.
