you cannot reproduce the issue does suggest IF it is an actual wsjtx bug it is
pretty obscure.

I have a similar problem to Alan (NX1W). My setup is monitoring 24/7 but
has issues with random receive lock-up with WSJT-X FT-8. Specifically, the
Band Activity window stops displaying messages, and broadcasting to
PSKReporter / GridTracker also stops. Apart from the software continues
