The root cause is that there isn’t a build of WTP that’s compatible with Oxygen

I would tend to agree that if you are going to do this by hand, the old way
of unzipping the distros to create a target is going to be hard to beat. The
p2 way is more flexible, but that certainly doesn't make it easier. Plus you
really don't want to install stuff via target platform UI every time

So does anyone know the story with DTP 1.7.2? I notice that our declared
build still references 1.7.1 and when I went to DTP download page, the 1.7.2
release is still listed as a release candidate. Does anyone know which
version of DTP is supposed to be in the SR2 EPP distros?

3.1.2 builds. It is not listed on the 3.1.1 release page. Is this is an
intentional change to SR2 prereqs or did some 3.2-specific releng changes
