[Wtr-general] IE.new_process hangs my program

When running IE.new_process, my process hangs. On my parallels XP it works fine, on my other machine (hardware)XP it hangs. Both machines are running ruby 1.8.6, with the 1192 gem. Are there any machine or IE settings that could cause this to happen? Thanks in advance, Shawn _

If you mean the __FILE__ variable, it is a pseudo variable that contains the current source file name. So it will work even when used as the first line of a script. It's really useful in cases like this, where you need to dynamically add dir names to the load path before you try to require other
