identally, you can grab the source package from lenny or sid, as I
indicated in my previous message. That one is known to build on Debian.

As far as building the Debian package for Ubuntu, you can just get the
source package (from Debian Sid or Ubuntu Intrepid) and then use
dpkg-buildpackage or pbuilder to build it for Hardy.

So, the freeze for Debian Lenny will happen this week. Now would be a
good time to release if there is a release on the near horizon and it
would be desirable for that release to be in the next Debian stable
release.
