Since this had been a "future" development discussion a while back (re
possible use of HTML5 in x2go) I thought I'd pass this on.
Just stumbled on this announcement of noVNC (LGPL3) and saw they now
implement HTML 5 (websockets and canvas)

Hello, all. We continue to heavily test 3.0.1-18 and vcxsrv. It all
seems ready to go except for one issue - it completely crashes
consistently when printing under Windows XP as Phil previously reported.
This problem does not exist in Windows7.
