I have another system that I installed Rocky Linux 8.8 onto.
I created some logins and set the shell to be /usr/bin/tcsh.
I installed XFCE.
When I log in at the computer and open a terminal then the tcsh shell is being
used as expected.
When I connect using X2Go then open a terminal the shell
I set up a new Linux system, initially with Centos 7 and installed X2Go from
Epel.
When I try to connect, then a black window opens that says X2Go on the
background and then closes instantly.
I tried from a client on the same machine, from a client on different Linux
machines, and from a 4.1.2
Turning off compositing fixed it.

systems where I run Cadence Virtuoso software. As far as I know the systems and
X2Go are set up the same.
Systems have the latest OS patches.
X2go was installed from Epel repo.
client is v. 4.1.1.1-1.el7
server is4.1.0.3-9

I tried using X2GO 4.1.1.1 on my Windows machine but resizing the SOS columns
still crashes the X2GO window.
It seems therefore that there is some difference between the Linux and Windows
client related to the problem.
