Sourceforge.org Forums are gone. Even the Forums tab at the top is gone. www.xastir.org Forums are gone, including the shortcut at the top. It's a much better Xastir world out there. Thanks Chuck! We'll rely on the two mailing lists, as we always have before. -- Curt, WE7U. APRS Client Com

Well, I thought I was going to be real sneaky and get people to monitor the (mostly useless) forums via a back-door... I set up the forums to mail to the Xastir list and then tweaked the Xastir list to accept them. Unfortunately Mailman is pissed off about the formatting of the subject line so I

I made my 1st APRS transmission with an ancient HK232 last night. It seemed to work! But I'm confused about a menu item that sets up some operational aspect of Xastir. There's setup window for what appeared to be timing of messages or beacons... I'm guessing. There was no text in the setup wind

Hello all, I've downloaded the Tiger 2006 maps from tamu.edu and installed them and they work fine. But they are basically all grey, whereas the online maps are multi-colored and are much easier to use. Do I have the 2006 maps mis-configured? What data is being served by the online serv
