The slider menu issue is the result of an openMotif version 2.3 bug. I've never seen it happen with Lesstif. I'm thinking the MacBook Pro is using openMotif 2.3, so either switching to Lesstif or downgrading to openMotif version 2.23 or 2.24 would give you the slider menu text. Lee - K5DAT

So I've been told. I loaded both LessTif and the older version of OpenMotif but because I don't know how to get rid of the older version of OpenMotif, how to delete it completely in other words, I've not been able to make Xastir use the newer version. Watching Gustav on Xastir is very

Well this syntax worked to let me install imagemagick instead of graphicsmagic but it did not work to let me install lesstif over openmotif. Even if I do ./configure --without-motif it still end up with OpenMotif v 2.30 in use by Xastir. On Sep 1, 2008, at 12:36 PM, Steve Friis wrote:
