It looks like Xastir rpms are going to be placed in the Fedora yum repositories
soon. It is currently sitting in the "Packages submitted for review" area of
packages page on the Fedora Amateur Radio SIG
(http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/SIGs/AmateurRadio).

Rick,
Sure does. I put it in KISS but can't get it to switch between the ports. I
want it to transmit on the HF side but it only transmits on the VHF side.

mouse over would show all of the alerts for that particular county.
73s,
GM Gerry,
As soon as I get back into town I'll see if I can snag them for you. I'm going
to be leaving town when I get out of work today so I'll be away from my *nix
box and the Internet.
FWIW, the error packets that were being shown in the terminal screen did were
not complete packets and thu
Earl,
Fedora 7 comes on a Live CD now (http://fedoraproject.org/) that will allow you
to try it out before committing to it. (There's a little icon on the desktop
for ease of installation when you are ready to install it.) I'll be installing
it on a couple of older boxes here in the short term
If I remember correctly, the KPC-2 was a dual-port TNC that had two 1200 baud
ports on it. It is REALLY old. I wonder what the firmware version and date is
on that unit.
