ok, so i just found on the website it has a USB cable so there is a PC
interface. Surprising they don't list that on the spec sheet

Very nifty device, but pricey as with all things Garmin.
Looking at the spec sheet, there doesn't appear to be data in or out
for the handheld unit, only a power adapter.
The next thought I had was what data format is the 'collar' unit
transmitting back to the handheld unit? T

just needs to remember to key the mic or the call button.
So what does anyone know about the Garmin Astro. It is sold to track
hunting dogs. https
