Ok, we'll add the requires for the ssh client. We have to
require /usr/bin/ssh, because rhel calls the rpm openssh-clients and sles
calls it openssh. I think they do that just to annoy us, because for the
dhcp server rhel calls it dhcp and sles calls it dhcp-server (the
opposite). :(

Indeed! Hence my point that
It is best not to put files under /install/postscripts except
postscripts, because that is going to be copied to the nodes, everytime
you run updatenode .Do you see all those files under /xcatpost and are
you sure those 1000 files are world readable because if they are not the
wget will fa

I must say that's more than I expected and certainly I/we didn't
put that many (certainly less than a 100 to take a safe margin)
since it was first installed. I must s

Give me the lsdefand the mypostscript file after install, when
you can.
Might be good if you can go to 2.7?

yes and there was no errors. just downloads of rpm in the usual output
format of wget. No errors at all.

What level of code are you on again?
Did you look at /tmp/wget.log on the node and see if there are errors.
Is there an /xcatpost directory after the install?
In the wget.log, you will see a line, does the address look like one that
the node can contact the MN with during install?
http://10.6.
