Hi Jarrod,
I have xCAT v2.8.2 (comes with PHPC) which works on my existing idataflex
nodes. When u say we disabled weaker ciphers in the XCC (BMC/IMM), how easy it
is to enable? Any workaround? Thanks.

What version of xCAT? Do you have perl-Crypt-Rijndael and perl-Crypt-CBC
installed?
We disabled the weaker ciphers in the XCC (BMC/IMM), which means you now *must*
have AES support to speak to the BMC, whereas at one point it was optional.

I can recreate this issue in our test system. It seems nodeset only
create node file, not node.uefi or node.elilo files.
I will dig into more,
anyway, which xCAT release on your system?
Thanks,
Casandra

Hi There,
I’m having issue adding new nodes running on Lenovo 7x02 SR630 HW. No problem
with existing nodes running on idataflex HW.
Here goes the error:
# rinv compute000
compute000: Error: No cipher suite match with proposed security algorithms
compute000: Error: No cipher suite match with
# nodeset n9 osimage=c7livecd
Warning: n9: xnba might be invalid when provisioning c7livecd,valid options: "".
For more details see the 'netboot' description in the output of "tabdump -d
noderes".
n9: boottarget boottarget-x86_64-c7livecd
# tabdump nodetype
after nodeset, can u check the nodetype table again?
tabdump nodetype
ls -ltr /tftpboot/xcat/xnba/nodes/n9*
Have you try provision the node?
Thanks,
Casandra

Hi Jeff,
Could you check your osimage definition about exlist, pkglist and postinstall?
We do not formal ship compute.SL7.pkglist, we user the same files for rhels7. so could you try to use the rhels7 related files for your osimage?
Here I give you an example for osimage, you can find the
Good morning all,

The dracut hooks don't seem to be working properly, which is both making it
