Hi Jarrod, I have xCAT v2.8.2 (comes with PHPC) which works on my existing idataflex nodes. When u say we disabled weaker ciphers in the XCC (BMC/IMM), how easy it is to enable? Any workaround? Thanks. > On Jun 12, 2018, at 4:23 PM, Jarrod Johnson wrote: > > What version of xCAT? Do you have

What version of xCAT? Do you have perl-Crypt-Rijndael and perl-Crypt-CBC installed? We disabled the weaker ciphers in the XCC (BMC/IMM), which means you now *must* have AES support to speak to the BMC, whereas at one point it was optional. From: Rogie Pamintuan Sent: Tuesday, June 12, 2018

I can recreate this issue in our test system. It seems nodeset only create node file, not node.uefi or node.elilo files. I will dig into more, anyway, which xCAT release on your system? Thanks, Casandra ... Casandra Hong Qiu

Hi Jarrod, It's working, thank you very much. For completeness following all the details of the cluster: 1) DHCP /etc/dhcp.cscs/dhcpd.conf calls cluster1.conf as following: ...include "/etc/dhcp.cscs/dhcp-conf-dir/cluster1.conf";... where cluster1.conf (following your example) is now:...option

Good morning all, I'm still wrestling with a SciLinux 7.4 statelite deployment with xcat 2.13.11. The dracut hooks don't seem to be working properly, which is both making it difficult to debug and also probably symptomatic of a larger problem. Running genimage, a few things have caught my
