This has already been done in X.Org's repository and it is on my
to-do-soon list to merge in.
I had a look at x.org's sunffb and all they did is to rewrite
ffb_accel.c to use XAA and add a hardware-accelerated alpha-blending
function ( plus accompanying changes in ffb_driver.c to load

You seem to have an incomplete XFree86 installation.
Those modules are supposed to be in /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/.
Eg. mouse is at /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/input/mouse_drv.o,
i810 is at /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers/i810_drv.o.
You should check that you've installed the X11 packages
that come

OS is Redhat 9 residing on
secondary disk - XP is on
primary.. Booting from a CD goes to command
line.
As root, 'startx' doesn't work and creates attached
log.
Any help

Hello
I was updated from Xfree 4.3 to 4.5 before two days, and then, the
applications that depends on
Qt GUI Library like for example xxdiff show rectangles instead of fonts.
Do you any of you know about some bug in XFree86 4.5, or how I can fix
this problem ?
