[XFree86] How Often Do New X's Come Out?

ript (I forget the exact name, maybe 'Xinstall.sh'?) off the website was what helped me the most. Scripts are a welcome treat, especially if one is new to X, or even new to their OS (or both!), allowing something as complex as X to be setup by anyone. Just my thoughts on the issue... -
