Okay... this scares me. I enabled POP3 logging and started checking it and
decided in a big hurry that I didn't like the log output as it gives me one
more thing to make sure outside users (crackers) can't get hold of. Assuming
I don't have any unusual settings involved in creating my log file,
Their dial up ISP is probably blocking port 25. Add an alternate port (something
other than 25) to xmails bindings, and configure the email program to connect on the
alternate port.

Any web sites that gives tips on this?

Does your VB program have a form it displays? If it does then that's
probably your problem.

I am not quite sure what you mean. I have narrowed down the problem though
of why my external commands are not working.
I have found that when I am running the server normally as an NT service,
ANY time I try to run ANY external command, the external command locks up
and does not run. When I sta

Hi,
I have discussed this topic today with Sönke
and we came to the conclusion that blocking local senders from
external mailservers is indeed stupid. it was a bad idea.
if one receives spam from a certain mailserver one will have
to block it using spam-*.tab or blacklisting the mailserver
