Hello,
during this night I wrote new software for XMail (and my first XMailware
under .NET). It's tool for automatic synchronization of backup MXes
running on XMail servers.
The product is in BETA stage, because was not extensively tested,
although I believe it should work. Is freely available i
Thanks Davide, I shall give it a whirl. I'm getting a
bounce/error message about every minute. My cron sure
doesn't put out that much mail so it has to be resends of
prior failures.
Again, thanks for the help.

Thanks for the replies. Already tried changing the cron
email. I think the sendmail is OK. Set up a script to call
it like in a "howto" I found. Before that I couldn't send
any email from a php script seems to work OK now. If I
have to, I'll resort back to my sendmail binary. I think a

XMail up and running with UMPL_XMail except won't accept
local "root" mail so now have hundreds of local "root" cron
emails and bounce errors looping around the server. Need to
get all errors and bounces cleaned out and get local "root"
emails accepted by or sent to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" box. H

The sockets aren't really all that complicated to handle; I do recommend
using asynchronous sockets so you don't have the process block while you're
doing other stuff. There are examples of how to do this in the VS.NET
documentation. The one thing you need to pay attention to is the fact that

You can also use Perl XMail-Ctrl to work with .NET.
Great! So much for getting away from the docs!

Only problem with the global file is how does xmail know which domains
to relay and which not to relay???
It's best to create a domain.tab file for each domain.

Yep thanks, and the cmdline Edit 'program' can also create .tab filenames.

Hi!
Of course you can create file called .tab. You just go to the command promt
and write the following:
c:\>copy con .tab
bla bla bla
^Z
1 file(s) copied.
File is created. Please don't use Notepad, Windows Explorer and such tools
to do things like that.

Thats exactly what I want!
Except Windows cannot create files that start with a . (or a ") - so I
can't create a .tab file.
Is there an alternative in XMail?

Hello,
is there anyone who has written/is working on implementation of XMail's
CTRL protocol under .NET (VB.NET or C#).
I need it and don't know how to do it (socket implementation in .NET
seems to be pretty obscure for me). So before I'll try to learn it, I
want to know if someone has not done

At the moment I've just created domain.tab files in the custdomains
directory, but it means creating an additional file for each domain.
