Hi,
I noticed that bounce messages genearated by XMail do not have a empty
MAIL_FROM but the postmaster address from server.tab.
Normally bounce messages have empty return path, don't they?

If any one is interested, I have just finished posting the first release of
XMail.NET to GotDotNet.
You can access it from: http://workspaces.gotdotnet.com/xmaildotnet
This library contains the following:

- Support for batch commands to CTRL

Over here we use an outside service to pass mail to our XMail box; somewhat
similar to your setup. We can then specify only certain IP addresses that
can send to port 25 on the XMail box.
If you're running XMail on Linux then you can use the IPTables firewall to
restrict access. I'm sure on a

Those give excellent results on my server :
dnsbl.sorbs.net (the best for me)
sbl-xbl.spamhaus.org
dnsbl.njabl.org
bl.spamcop.net
list.dsbl.org

Most virii will come from home users. I would try using CustMapsList
(server.tab), and perhaps "SMTP-RDNSCheck" (also in server.tab).
Can someone post a good list of services to use with CustMapsList? I don't
have one.

"Firewall" is perhaps too strong of a word for what the Barracuda does - it
accepts incoming SMTP connect

Hey all:
We've recently installed a Barracuda (rack-mount "spam firewall" based on
Spam Assassin, also does virus scanning) on our network in front of our
XMail system, and pointed our MX records to deliver mail to the Barracuda
instead of directly to our server. This change was made over a month
I am running 1.18 on both my primary and my secondary. I have the same
exact smtprelay.tab file on both servers. My primary does not relay but no
matter what I do my secondary relays everything.

No, you misunderstood. There are redirects.
Anyway, I am home now. So, I can send you all my config tomorrow.
Thanks..

Can you give us some more config details? Filters? Mailproc? Etc... This HAS
to be a config problem, or everyone would be having this issue, and this is
the first I have heard of it. Are you sure that there is no redirect
anywhere?

No, redirects are working well. I am sure about this, because when I send to one
address per one mail, it goes to where it has to. but the m

Subject: [xmail] X-Deliver-To problem
> When I send 2 mails
the main problem is not the X-Deliver-To header. I fixed it withReceivedHdrType
option. the main problem is that server delivers the mails according to the number
of recipients in thew "To" section. I mean, if I send a mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and
[EMAIL PROTECTED] and I only recieve mail
When I send 2 mails to my domain's 2 different addresses the X-Deliver-To header of
both messages become same. I mean, I send a mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and [EMAIL
PROTECTED] as
typing the addresses to the "To" section by comas and both of them have the
X-Deliver-To header as "[EMAIL PROTECTED]".
