Hi Davide -
Yes, it works from an external line, but not from the server itself. I
am trying to figure out why providing the authoritative DNS for that
domain (pointing to another server on the net which provides everything
else for the domain) causes the failure - it seems to be looping, whic

The fact that it works fine in 1.24 does not mean that there's a TAB. IP
parsing code changed in 1.25, and it there was a TAB in 1.24, that'd have
been parsed fine anyway. XMail would have been fetched the f

OK, just to add to my confusion, here is part of what is going on - this
server also provides the authoritative DNS for trikorausa.com (but not
local DNS queries or caching!). It does not provide any other services
for trikorausa.com (no email etc.) - the records point to an outside
address.
A simple question :) :
When trying to sending a mail from the sendmail server to a account on =
the
xmail server does xmail accept de mail ?

Now it seems to be the good log :)
Just before this smtp log line , do you have any other line from the =
same
sender server that show an "SNDRIP=3DEIPMAP " status ?
What is the server.tab CustMapsList variable content ?

adding the relay of the loopback address doesn't help.
this is the smtp log from xmail:
"smtp.convergenze.it" "smtp.convergenze.it" "213.136.179.20"
"2008-02-20 14:17:17" "ip-179-20.sn3.eutelia.it" ""

I could be completly wrong :)
After reviewing the previous posts, it seems strange that the xmail =
server
rejecting with 'relay denied' and that is supposed to receive the mail =

another 'physical' server is login this line with 127.0.0.1 as the =

Hey Rosario !!
Simply add this line at start of your smtprelay.tab file :
"127.0.0.1"[TAB]"255.255.255.255"
Doing so, you explicitly ask xmail to relay the local address :)

Hello Davide

resolver, and you said that when using SmartDnsHost, xmail only ask for =
the
'final' request (directly the mx lookup without trying first soa, ns, =

I asked this because I had the same problem as Jeff but
