I know I might be a little late requesting this, but could you also add a
link to the Xmail log Archiver at http://xmlogarch.sourceforge.net on the
page?

I've created a log archival and analysis tool for XMail. Those that are

Win32 support. I'll be working on it as I have the chance, but volunteers

I look forward to hearing how it goes with the filter,

I've cleaned up and zipped the filter I made. You can grab it at

the PHP file itself. Good luck!

You may need to check the ini settings for php. If you're under linux, try

I've noticed a lot of spammer entries in my SMTP logs with "friend" in the
client domain field (all .biz domains at that). Is there a way to ban
messages based on this field? I've poured through the docs and many Google
searches so far nd have found very little about whatthis field represents.

The sources aren't the only place to change the structure of user mailboxes.
Look at the command line settings for Xmail.
http://www.xmailserver.org/Readme.html#command_line
The mail path can be changed at runtime manually, inside /etc/init.d/xmail
(on linux) or in the registry at HKLM\SOFTWA
I had to go look at PHPMailer and I don't think it's your problem. I
have a feeling there's more code. It sounds like your using an array
inside quotes, but the array isn't an array anymore or something like that.
ie:
# arrays need to be _outside_ quotes (mistake 1), but

See if your ISP or Hosting Service can do some blocking upstream. It's
worked for me in the past. If they can't, you may want to write a quick cron
job to filter your logs. That approach sucks due to the extra work to
cordinate it with log rotation. Talk to your ISP first.
