well, if you want to use it with another emulator which does not allow
configuring keys one possibility is to use a different keymap under x11.
you can extract your current keymap
hi folks,
i run xmame with an I-PAC and an Opti-PAC from Ultimarc.com. there are two

since the attachment was stripped, i send the patch as uuencoded file.

hi folks,

hi lawrence,
as far as i remember i sent the keyboardgrab-patch to the list according
to the xv-patch. since it is totally independent of the xv-patch, i have
created a patch against the pre6-release. it is considered as a complement
to the mousegrab, thus (de)activating per keypress (ALT+PGUP)
hi there,
i just thought about finding the best visual. 15/16bit are also considered
as (pseudo) true color. since we requested a visual of class true color
and ask for a visual with 16bit everything is ok.
the x server on an irix-machine behaves pretty the same. i started xmame

hi folks,
i found a little bug in xmame while trying to get full game info with

i wanted a description file for advanceSCAN with xmame-0.62.1-for-rom-

after little investigation i found a define MAX_DATAFILE_ENTRIES which was

i just had to remove my ~/.xmame directory and realized that no hiscore

i guess it was just forgotten to create the ~/.xmame/hi directory while

hi folks,
while inc/dec of frame skip (f8/f9) the fps is display for some time.
so i was curious - and yes mame is prepared to display the fps all
the time and not only temporary.
i don't know why there hasn't been any option or menu-entry to toggle
fps-display, but here is a short hack:

ok, i also got that error with 0.63.1-testing. i could track down the
bug to the file src/unix/fileio.c line 656. just swap the arguments
'length' and 'sizeof(...)' to match fwrite()-call (man-page), i.e.:
change
result = fwrite(buffer, length, sizeof(unsigned char), file->fileptr);

lines. finally it stops dumping and hang, i.e. nothing happens anymore.
