gunbird2 never actually creates a window for me. Anyone else?

Works for me (though it does take a while for it to start).

I get a window, but it takes longer than most games and really bogs down
the system. It's probably quite a memory hog.
Maybe the system just doesn't have enough RAM to run it! I recommend 128 MB
or more personally. I'd have 196, but this one 64 MB module doesn't feel like
cooperating with the other 2.

I'd recommend 196/256MB to run the Psikyo PS3/5/5v2 games.
The gfx are unpacked as both 8bpp

Actually, it does run but it takes *minutes* for a window to appear - you have
to be REALLY patient.

Hmm...
My current box is a P-III 1.0GHz w/ 256MB of RAM, running KDE under
RH8.0.
Video card is an ATI Rage Fury 128 w/ 32 MB.
I'm currently using xmame .62.2
using the command: xmame.dga -fullscreen gunbird2
it takes ~ 1:10 from the time when xmame reports that it's finished
loading the ROM fil

Interesting. It only took like 10-15 seconds for me, which is pretty normal
considering load time and everything I'm doing right now.
This is on a 1.8 GHz P4 with 512 MB of RAM...

Thanks - seems to be running much faster now for some reason...
