I've just installed esperanza and it seems to work with my system
(F11/Audigy sound card). I'm playing the sample "Lament for Lost
Dreams" that ships with the client. Sounds good, and that tells me that
the xmms2 server is up and running properly. But, for some reason I

Also make sure that you have the mp3 plugin installed. You can check
by running xmms2 plugin_list
