Hello everyone,
I've two questions concerning the current Xorg master-branch from GIT.
1) Is there any evidence why the current xorg stack doesn't start-up
(http://tinderbox.freedesktop.org), e.g. a particular module or driver which
prevents X from starting up...
As far as I can see xcb, x11pe
f the latest technology to be extremely
expensive. [wikipedia]
I guess Xi2.0 is such a module :)

Hey JD,
there's a little script on the Xorg / git development site.

You can copy and paste the script into a myxorgscript.sh (chmod +x it )
You can start building X like that (in console): sh myxorgscript init |

Hello everyone,
I need some help...
My first question: I'm building "x" from git with the tiny little script
from http://www.x.org/wiki/Development/git
(at bottom of the page). I've got several "older" (like 1-2 months)
builds running, which means the xserver starts up.

Hey all,
I'm trying to get the current (X.Org X Server 1.6.99.1) "X" running on

I tested several systems with ATI, INTEL and NVIDIA gcards...
The most "difficult" system seems to be the one with NVIDIA cards.

Hey,
the current XServers' xinput application supports
multiple mouse pointer.
I suggest you to read Peter Hutterers' blog.

You'll need a devel version of the XServer so I suggest

I'm currently testing Peter Hutterers' XI. AFAIK you don't
