I just installed linux, and went I tired to install
Xfree it wouldn't work. I set up everything right, I
selected the ATI rage 128 driver, and used SVGA mode.
When I tired to continue Xfree would just go blank no
error message or anything How do I install Xfree?

Hi. I have to add aonther issue: After switching to an vt, it is not
possible to switch back. The screen becomes simply black. - Alhough
the systems doesn't hang. It is possible to switch to an vt again.

I have bought a new hp omnibook xe3, and it came with intel's i830 chipset.
I got the 2D graphics working fine, I can use my fav. desktop environment
etc.
But, does/will this driver have support for DRI, render-extensions and
xvideo-extensions?
