Hi,
Can some one plz confirm that Linux kernel Version 4.2/4.0.3 has support for
Frame Buffers.
I need to build a KDrive which needs a kernel with this support.
Good Day...

Is this fix now in cvs tree xc module? I.e. can I update my working dir and

Hello to everyone.
I have installed XFree86 on a mipsel machine.
Compilation and installation occurred without incident.
But any application that actually opens a window
crashes---always at the same point.
The difficulty seems to lie in Quarks.c, part of
the X11 lib files.

Hi, Ani,
We are working on a AGP graphic card(ATI Radeon VE QY)

We beleive that the address of PCI configuration space

You need framebuffer support in your Linux kernel -- nothing to do
with XFree86 sources.
Xvesa (the other generic KDrive server) should work on all x86
machines, independently of framebuf

Hi,
Any one had a chance to have a look at this one ?
The visual effects of the XDGAFillRectangle() XDGACopyArea() and
XDGACopyTransparentArea()
functions are really not correct. It looks like the copied area gets sliced around the
viewport as if the image size that the driver gives is not cor

There is another list for registered developers to submit patches,
and the turn around
Some months ago I enterd a question about the impossibility to activate
DPMS on flat panels with radeon VE.
Unfortunately no definite answer was given to the question.
Now, I received by mail an interesting suggestion from Prof. Jaijeet
Roychowdhury.
His suggestion, as you'll read, requires a l

It doesn't even work without the handhelds patch
I'd suggest as a first thing to try to build the kernel from the
handhelds.org CVS. Running just with RMK patches will often miss things.
We feed things upstream to Russel King, but sometimes things aren't in
a consistent state and there has been a lot of work in the fbdev area
