Hi,
Any hints on getting xvideo happening *reliably* on my Toshi Sat 1800 with
CyberBlade/XP[1,2] video, running Xfree86 4.2.0?
AFAICT:

I've got an "odd" quirk in xterm's menus with:
* Toshiba Satellite 1800, with CyberBlade/XP
* Linux 2.2.21, built with vesafb support
* Debian woody and pre-release xfree86 4.2.0-0pre1v1
* trident_drv.o from http://www.xfree86.org/~alanh/
In each of the "Main Options", "VT Options" and "VT Font

Greetings,
I've got the Debian pre-release of X 4.2 running on my Toshiba 1800 which
is otherwise running Debian woody.
It's mostly OK, but has crashed a couple of times. The most recent one
(just now :-|) was when running gtv (i.e. smpeg) and with linux 2.2.21
booted (linux is configured with

Not sure about the "e" bit, but i810, yes. Specifically this one:

There's a thread "[PATCH] Intel 845 support for agpgart" running on
linux-kernel this week - might be relevant?

Greetings all,
There appears to be a small but consistent thread of reports of i810
problems (typically server lockup/crash) which go away when acceleration
is disabled. See:
