It has been brought up that it has been a know issue for some time that
xfburn cannot burn iso's
We need to either get a replacement app or get this bug squashed
(hopefully before gutsy release)

need a light weight front-end built for wodim. I would
assume that if K3B is in main, and depends on wodim, it would stand to
reason that wodim is in main as well.

One thing I would like to see is the Volume Manager Plugin activated and
set with Device - Default
With this plugin turned on, laptop and keyboard volume control buttons
just work without any tinkering

hardy, without the incremental steps between.

I have no Dapper install disks handy, so I took a breezy install
disk and installed CLI-only
I edited the sources.list file to comment out the cd, enabled
/powerpc64/netboot/mini.iso

My understanding is that no .desktop is needed because the intended
method for accessing this item is to right-click on the icon in the
panel and choose Edit Connections
