Hi all,
I've successfully built and tested a Mono 3.2.3 recipe with Yocto.
The code is in a fork I took of current meta-mono head, which is here:

Ok. so, I should backtrack a bit, just so I understand the issue
completely. This is my first time putting together a bitbake recipe, and
the kernel is a complex little beastie.
BTW, I'm building for an Atmel ARM cpu. Sorry didn't mention that in my

Robert,
This patch is applied. Thanks for the close read and review. You discovered
several little issues.
Best,

AFAIK, there are two recommended values for SRCREV assuming you are
fetching
from an SCM at all:
A) A specific revision (SHA1 hash when fetching from git)
or
B) ${AUTOREV} if you want to always build the latest

Turns out this is a phantom error. Instead of building mkimage, I had
accidentally added it to my git master branch, but deleted it from my local

too tired to go track this down so i'll beg for an explanation --
section 4.3.4.2 in ref manual:
The result of the change should be that all the package,
package_write_rpm, and package_deploy-rpm shared state cache items
would become invalid.
package_deploy-rpm?
