I've added a prototype of my idea as described in my last comment, if we want
to do it this way, we have to bump the sql-schema-version, I guess.
I'm not completely sure if this is the way to go, but given the fact that the
number of entries in the _fix_cache table should be *very* low over time

Thank you for your report. This is a problem with Zeitgeist versions
older than 0.6. You can get the latest Zeitgeist version for Maverick by
installing it from our PPA.

What you're proposing sounds better than adding a C binding file for
update_hook (unless we decide we want to start adding more C stuff, but
I can't think of what that'd be right now). I guess it's the best we can
