LEAD STORY
Microsoft officially launches Exchange 2003  (vnunet)
Today's the day Microsoft unveils its new messaging and collaboration server, even though 200 companies have already deployed it in early adopter programs. Microsoft is making big promises, too. It said a 45,000-user enterprise could generate about $600,000 in total annual operational savings over Exchange 5.5.

THE MISSING LINK
Video games a prescription for better health?

Video games are good for you? Hard to believe anyone could say that and get away with it. For years, doctors and politicians have been trashing video games for making joystickers fat, lazy and in some cases, violent. But researchers in Canada say that some video games are good therapy for people with phobias, and not nearly as costly as the usual therapies. For example, a spider game helped arachnophobes better deal with their creepy-crawlie issues. Can you imagine telling the wife, "Not now honey. I have to play my medicine." Hey, no one believed Dr. Atkins either!
