The Missing Link

Politician courts the 'ping' voters
[Associated Press]
Political candidates may use the Net to flesh out their positions on the issues, but one Washington wannabe has gone a step further. Jeff Seemann, a congressional candidate from Ohio, is asking concerned Netizens what they think he should do on the campaign trail. Like what time he should get up, whether he should campaign door to door, what events he should attend and so on. Although Seemann is a true dark horse (think Black Beauty), his site got more than 3,000 hits one day last week. This could foretell a future in which all political campaigning is done via instant messenger.
