Wikipedia tells us that the term taxonomy derives from the Greek words "taxis" (for order) and "nomos" (for law). Sounds like a TV show, right? Be that as it may, for the staff here at SearchDomino.com, taxonomy has been a must view for a while now, as we, like other TechTarget Network editors, have been at work building a new taxonomy that gives you a new way to navigate our site.
We still have a way to go in making this taxonomy of topics as useful as possible, which requires sometimes looking at favorite articles in a taxonomic light we might not have foreseen when the articles were first penned. We hope that, over time, our taxonomy can become an increasingly more handy way to browse for useful information.
We don't mind taking any brickbats or bouquets you may want to send as you 'walk the site' using topics, as long, of course, as the brickbats come via electronic media. If you have bookmarked favorite resource pages, the bookmarks still work. If those bookmarked favorites are not apparent in pertinent topic pages, let us know. We want to hear from you!
To start at the top of the taxonomy, go to the Domino Topics page, or use the "Topic" button on the nav bar atop every SearchDomino.com page. Don't forget, you can still use Search at SearchDomino. We are not about to become TaxonomyDomino! In fact, our technical crew is at work on search enhancements that should improve that classic Web site navigation tool, in order to streamline your user experience.
Best Regards,
Jack Vaughan

May the template be with you

Templates are the bread -- if not the bread and butter -- of Domino and Notes development. Their inner workings can be straightforward, but there is always something to learn from working template specialists.
