>From the Forums | What's the difference?

How does Solaris stack up against other Unix operating systems? What
are the strengths and weaknesses of Solaris as compared to IBM-AIX or
HP-UX? Are they all basically the same? If not, then what's the
difference? You can post your response to Brunola's question in our

THE MISSING LINK | OMB sets up wasteful spending Web site

Did your senator pay $400 for a stapler? Did the ATF office in your
town pay someone $6,000 to mow the lawn? Maybe your post office
always gasses up those delivery Jeeps with pricey premium petrol. The
White House has set out "The Wastebasket," a place where taxpayers
can toss in evidence of government waste. The site,
www.whitehouse.gov/omb, is part of the White House Office of
Management and Budget's updated Web site. Think of it as a socially
responsible way to waste time! (Reuters)
