I dunno if it will work, but something like:

_buildhost      foo.bar.com

in ~/.rpmmacros might suffice.  Assuming you've got a custom rpm
build environment set up.  The point of the build host however I
believe is to aide in debugging problems.  If you know what
machine it was built on it can help.

Faking this is not recommended.
