Yes, you have to have the images on fat or ext2 partitions (not NTFS). You
need a program (like Partition Magic) that will allow you to resize
partitions. That way, you can decrease the NTFS partition, and create some
linux partitions. If you do an installation from the hard disk, you cannot
format the partition that you put the .iso images on. You may want to do
what Pete suggested, and transfer the directories you downloaded to another
computer, and do a ftp/http install.
