Get the 686b, it's marginally faster, and I can tell you I'm having no
problems with my MSI motherboard with a 686b southbridge. I just ordered
an Epox 8k7a+ (with RAID) and it uses the AMD 761 Northbridge and the
VIA 686b Southbridge and I'll let you know how it goes. (I know I just
said I'm having no problems with the MSI. I'm addicted to hardware. I
would have gotten the Dual Athlon, but my bank account isn't quite that
big. I needed a quick fix until there's some competition in Dual Athlons
and the price comes down to a more reasonalble level. :^)
