I too have an A7V133 and it works fine with rh 7.1 but you will want to
upgrade to newer kernel soonest if you have ibm dtla disk drives. I
don't have all the details but google will get you those. I have had no
problems when I have been using it with rh7.1 but the box is primarily a
win2k game box with a rh7.1 partition that I use for everything else but
gaming. Athlon 1.2G T'bird, 768MB ram, sb live sound card (has a history
of problems with the 686B chip),and 3com 3c905 nic. I have had no
problems with the A7V133 using the latest bios 1005a or the previous
version 1003a. I had an abit kt7a raid and it was extremely unstable
with this hardware with win98, so so with win2k, and very stable with
rh71 and mandrake 8.0 but I discarded the mandrake install so that I
could participate in the redhat community full time for a while. (Its
very nice here, competent help, occasional virulent misguided youth who
do not understand free choice and interpretations but that's pretty much
everywhere!). The A7V133 is pretty stable with win98, and rock solid
with win2k and rh7.1.
Have fun with your A7V133!
