I'm running the 80mb Tekram DC390U2W on a BioStar m/b with a 600mHz
Athlon, and have had no problems at all. Don't know about the faster
CPUs. The Tekrams are good adapters, their Linux support is about as
good as any, and their retail boxed adapters come with cables (real
7-plug LVD cable, a 3plug SCSI-wide, and a 3-plug SCSI-II cable),
terminator, and docs. I dunno what they cost now, but last fall that was
$149 US. The standard NCR53C8XX driver will get you installed, straight
off the CD.
Good Luck,
Doc
